Product Safety Update
On April 14, 2022, Paparazzi Accessories sent their official statement to Independent Consultants like me:
Is Starlet Shimmer Safe?
Two months prior to Paparazzi’s statement on product testing, product test results published by #LeadSafeMama Tamara Rubin were highlighted in Murial Bezanson’s Medium article showing that Paparazzi’s children’s jewelry line, Starlet Shimmer, had tested well beyond the consumer protection limits for lead and cadmium. Tamara’s and Murial’s publications came after an individual received test results from a laboratory that show the same.

Waypoint Testing – Crack the Crown (CTC)
On December 22, 2021, Paparazzi Accessories sent their official statement to Independent Consultants like me:
The email was sent one week after Crack the CrownTM received product test results from an accredited laboratory that reported 9 of 10 Paparazzi Accessories jewelry had tested high for lead, nickel, cadmium, and/or arsenic. See the test results below:
Paparazzi Told Us They Were Rumors
It was not until I was hospitalized in October 2022 that I ever saw the test results. Lying in my hospital bed, bored to tears, I began to looking at the test results with a critical eye and remembering what my upline told us earlier in the year. I was not yet convinced that Paparazzi Accessories’ products contained contaminants, but by February-March 2023 I was convinced that I no longer have confidence in Paparazzi Accessories or the founders, Trent Kirby, Misty Kirby, Chantel Reeve, and Ryan Reeve.
Paparazzi Accessories and Bling Auntie Part Ways
After questioning publicly Paparazzi and the founders, on the test results and the Policies and Procedures, my Independent Consultant Agreement was terminated by Paparazzi Compliance. I don’t believe them anymore. Asking a question that is easy to answer should not get anyone cancelled or fired. Asking questions was not the only reason for my cancellation. There were many reasons and after October 2022, I made choices that were out of compliance. It was my questioning that brought attention upon myself.
